Waiting for Lefty by Clifford Odets is the play that revolutionised American theatre.  Described in it's very first review in 1935 as "fiercely dramatic", this politically charged production has shocked thought provoked audiences throughout it's 78 year history in countries across the world.​

In an exciting move, Waiting for Lefty returns to the UK as a full run for the first time in over 30 years with a twist.  Transferred to the modern day, this emotional play challenges capitalism and argues that "if big business went sentimental over human life, there wouldn't be big business of any sort." (Clifford Odets) 





Set in a Strike Meeting in The USA, this is an immersive experience in which the audience will uniquely become union members and part of the action. The play will ask a question in which we hold the answer: do we strike or do we not and just continue to wait....wait for Lefty?
